Memory i.e. storage has a big role in the smooth running of the smartphone. If the memory becomes full, then the performance of the smartphone can be badly affected. In such a situation, it is very important to have enough memory in the smartphone. If your smartphone is full, then you can delete unnecessary photo-videos present in your Whatsapp. This will create space in the memory of the smartphone and your smartphone will start working.
In-built storage tool is useful
By going to the settings of WhatsApp, you can use the storage manager to see how much storage is occupied by which file. After this, you can delete those files, which are of no use to you.
For this go to WhatsApp Settings. Now click on the three dot on the home screen of the app and then go to Settings.
After this click on Storage and Data and then click on Manage Storage.
By doing this chat list will appear according to the details, suggestion and media size of storage used by WhatsApp.
– See the file taking up the most space here. Go to a file larger than 5MB and long press on a photo and then tap on other files to select and click on the Delete button.
There is also an option to delete from chat settings
Media files can also be selected by going to chat settings. Click on the three dots coming on the chat screen or go to the chat settings by clicking on the profile icon. There click on the option of Mediam, Links and Docs. By doing this, all the media files shared in the chat will come. Here you can select and delete files.
You can also delete directly by going to the gallery
WhatsApp photos can also be deleted by going to the smartphone’s gallery. Apart from this, you can also delete WhatsApp photos by going to Google Photos. For this, open Photos and then go to the Library. Then select such photos-videos, which are to be deleted. To delete, click on the Move to Trash option. Click on Library to keep these files forever. Then go to Delete and select the files you want to delete and then click on Delete Permanently.
